rachel chizen is at the cme in chicago. anthony is at the nymex in new york. let's start with you. if stocks are rallying in hopes of some sort of fed action why wouldn't that extend to gold as well? >> i think what's happening with gold is it's separating itself in the fed meeting. its focus is on what's happening with the fiscal cliff. you saw that a few minutes ago. when speaker boehner talked gold actually -- it was a negative reaction of what's coming out of washington. gold bounced off its lows. yesterday we had positive news out of washington and gold was lower. the market seems to be reacting -- gold market seems to be reacting to what's coming out of washington good or bad. >> rich, do you feel a resolution to the fiscal cliff would be bad for fwoeld? what are the levels you're watching? >> i think short term it would be bad for gold. you'd probably see the market drop and retest that 200-day moving average. i did a little impromptu jury on the way up here. out of ten guys everybody seems to be a little long. i think that's market sentiment. people have positions on. now w
